The PXI Express technology is an open standard defined by the PXI system alliance group and is suited for the tough requirements in simulations for autonomous driving, on test stands for function tests, and for product tests of consumer electronics during the production process. Such complex products require test systems with a high data throughput and extremely precise clock and trigger signals for synchronizing the functions of the test object.

PXI Express systems typically divide into two areas:

1) Plug-in Cards: Processor cards, measurement cards, and I/O cards. These represent the actual target functions of the system.

2) Chassis and Controller: Providing the infrastructure required for operating the plug-in cards such as the mechanical enclosure, backplane, cooling system, power supply.

Firmware and Software

Software tools can be downloaded from the product page of each chassis.

  • PXIe System Manager to check System status, set direction of Trigger signals, Set clk divider and read or write Chassis descriptor file
  • System Setup Tool for Win10 which automatically install the chassis.ini file and adds the registry inputs to integrate the chassis into the leading 3rd party measurement software suits

From standard to your custom solution

In our standard portfolio, we offer PXI-Express systems, 4 U, 8 slots, 44 HP and 4 U, 18 slots, 84 HP system. If our standard chassis does not exactly fit your requirements, you can use our configuration form to send us your individual project requirements.
